Operations and Training Modular Building Construction at Keele Valley Closed Landfill

The Work, as further described in Part 3 (DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS) and the Contract (the "Project"). In brief summary, the Work is comprised of but not limited to Operations and Training Modular Building Construction at Keele Valley Closed Landfill. 1. Construction of a single-storey 15.6 metre by 27 metre Modular Office Building on a rammed aggregate pier foundation, electrical, mechanical, and communications for the building, installation of water and sewer services to the building, a paved asphalt parking area and entrance culvert, sidewalks and curbs, and landscaping; and, 2. Structural demolition and removal of three (3) detached buildings and their associated connecting structures, formally used as a training space/lunchroom and all associated infrastructure below ground surface and above ground at the Keele Valley Closed Landfill Site; and, 3. Guaranteed full maintenance of the Modular Office Building for a period of two (2) years after Substantial Performance during the warranty period. The Supplier and its Subcontractor performing the Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) work must have the following experience requirements in order to be considered for award of the Contract: • The General Contractor must have completed and achieved Substantial Performance within the meaning of the Construction Act, on at least three (3) projects with a contract value greater than four million Canadian Dollars $4,000,000.00 (excluding taxes) and excluding the value of any associated linear works, within the past ten (10) years, fulfilling the role of the prime Contractor involving non linear building construction work. • The Subcontractor performing the Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) Design Build works must provide at least two (2) RAP or equivalent ground improvement reference projects within the past five (5) years, underground conditions similar to those anticipated for this Project. The RFT Optional PreBid Information Meetings will take place at 10:30AM local time on May 26, 2026 at the Keele Valley Landfill Site Office at 7 Eaglet Court, Vaughan, Ontario. Site meetings will not be available at any other times.
